The European cup's hostilities start this weekend at the classic 3 Pistes competition. As usual the skaters will fight in a three days competition that will be held on three different tracks: Pibrac, Valence-d'Agen and Gujan-Mestras.

Great battles to come
We will see some great battles again this year at the 3 Pistes. The defending champion Nolan Beddiaf and his eoskates teammates will do everything to keep the title. The Rollerblade speed team will be Beddiaf’s biggest rivals with Ewen Fernandez and Quentin Giraudeau who finished second and third in 2017. Last year's Europa cup long distance winner Diogo Marreiros from Portugal could also get great results this weekend. We will also have the chance to see the spectacular Elton de Souza represent Takino skates in solo while Valentin Thiebault will skate for Powerslide for the first time. We will definitely witness some great racing!

On the ladies' side of the competition, some of the big names are Clémence Halbout, Juliette Pouydebat and Marine Lefeuvre from France who finished 2nd, 3rd and 8th last year and normally have good results on the Europa cup circuit. Sheila Posada Guerra and Aura Quintana are also some great competitors who figure on the list of participants this weekend. It will also be interesting to see young Chloé Geoffroy from France racing her first major competition with Powerslide.
