The competition continued during the weekend with the other distances. The ladies 3000m was won by Isabelle Weidemann while canadian star Ted-Jan Bloemen won the men’s 5000m in front of Ben Donnelly and Antoine Gélinas-Beaulieu who both skated their personal bests.

Marsha Hudey and Alex Boisvert-Lacroix won the first of two 500m races of the weekend. Ted-Jan Bloemen came very close to beating his world record on the 10 000m when he won the distance. Isabelle Weidemann was the fastest lady on 5000m.
After winning the first 500m, Marsha Hudey also won the second one while Gilmore Junio skated a crazy fast race to win it on the men's side. Heather McLean from Manitoba and Vincent de Haître from Ontario were the fastest in the 1000m race.

Vincent de Haître and Ivanie Blondin were the best skaters on 1500m collecting gold medals. Shout out to David Larue who finished 4th with a new junior canadian record with a time of 1:45.16. Ivanie Blondin took her revenge on Keri Morrison on the second mass start by finishing first. The young Christopher Fiola took his second victory in the mass start and will represent Canada at the World cups.
