It is with a lot of pride that italian sensation Arianna Fontana announced today that she was selected by the Italian olympic committee to be the flag bearer for the opening ceremony of the upcoming 2018 Olympic games that will be held in Pyeongchang, South Korea from February 9 to February 25, 2018.
The 27 years old short track speed skater will take part in her fourth Olympic games, competing for the first time in the big show at the tender age of fifteen years old at home in Torino in 2006. She currently possesses five olympic medals winning bronze on the relay event in 2006, bronze on 500m at the Vancouver games in 2010, silver on 500m, bronze on 1500m and bronze also on the relay event in 2014 in Sochi.
