Here’s our recap of some of these events: The second and third stage of the Swiss Skate Tour in Biel and Sempach and the third World Inline Cup event in Dijon.

June 8th: Swiss Skate Tour stage 2 in Biel (21k)
The second stage of the Swiss Skate Tour was raced in Biel and was won by New Zealand’s Peter Michael for Arma Racing. Michael finished a little more than 30 seconds ahead of Yves Reist from the Chauvin Arnoux racing team. Reist’s teammate Tim Sibiet finished third. In the ladies' race, we saw an Arma racing domination as Mareike Thum, Larissa Gaiser and Nadja Wenger took first, second and third place.

June 10th: Swiss Skate Tour stage 3 in Sempach (42km)
The Swiss Skate Tour competitors were back for the third stage of the Swiss Skate Tour in Sempach. Josh Whyte won it in the men’s race in from of Matteo Angeletti from Italy and Nicolas Iten from Switzerland. Arma Racing dominated the ladies' race again in this third stage. Mareike Thum took her second victory of the weekend. Nicole Bolivar and Larissa Gaiser, also from Arma, finished second and third.

June 10th: World Inline Cup stage 3 in Dijon (42 km)
After an Event in Oropesa del Mar and an event in Rennes, the best marathon skaters in the world were in Dijon for the third World Inline Cup stage of the season. In the ladies' race, World Inline Cup general classification champion in 2017, Katharina Rumpus from Powerslide, won the final sprint in front of Manon Kamminga from BONT and Aura Quintana from EO SKATES. If the ladies' podium is not really a surprise, the men’s winner would have been hard to predict. Spain's Eugenio Landete Marquina (on the photo) from team In Gravity created the surprise by winning the race with a solid breakaway. Quentin Giraudeau from Rollerblade who was chasing Landete finished in second and Bart Swings won the pack sprint for third.
