The stakes are high in this Olympic season as the skaters will try to qualify for Pyeongchang. Consistency will be the key as the athletes will need to be in the top 32 in the 1000m and the 500m and in the top 36 in the 1500m after the four World cup events to book their flights to Pyeongchang for the Olympics. The  first eight  relay teams will also have the chance to fight for a medal. This World cup season will show us who seems to be in good positions for the Olympic games in Korea  and the World championships that will take place in Montreal.

We already presented you the skaters who will compete for Canada, the United States and Ireland and this weekend’s event will get us in touch with the other teams.
