Road to World Championships: Team Italy

The Italian team will once again this year be one of the best nations skating at the World championships

It will be a strong Italian team that will compete in Heerde in a couple of days. Multiple world champion and European champion Francesca Lollobrigida, who has been performing very well in the past few years, will be leading a strong team of women. She will also have her sister Giulia Lollobrigida as a high quality teammate to help within the pack. Add skaters like Luisa Woolaway and Giorgia Bormida to this strong family duo and you get a pretty solid team!

It’s a young but talented men’s team that will represent Italy at World Championships. Daniel Niero, who is making a name for himself in the senior inline speed skating scene, will have strong teammates like Giuseppe Bramante and multiple junior champion Daniele di Stefano.
